The annual Alexandria Scottish Walk will be held on December 6th. The Clan Donald day begins with breakfast at the Sheraton Suites, Old Town Alexandria starting at 7 a.m. and up until the Walk at 10:30. Parking for Clan Donald members staying at the hotel is $3/day and for those who are parking for the dinner, $5/day. The hotel courtesy van can take you to the beginning of the Scottish Walk, if you don't want to walk the distance. For out-of-towners a block of rooms has been reserved at a discount Clan Donald ($99/night). Call direct to 703-836-4700.
The Walk itself will be an event - with Ronald W. Coutts the High Commissioner of Clan Donald U.S.A. marching with us and piped on by the wonderful MacDonald Pipe Band of Pittsburgh.
After the Scottish Walk you can enjoy the rest of the day however you like, then at 5:00 pm we'll all meet back at the Sheraton for a wonderful holiday buffet (menu), music, and fun. The MacDonald Pipe Band of Pittsburgh will play as will A Rose between Two Thorns. Rumor also has it that Santa may be making an appearance. Dress for the dinner is scottish or business attire.
The Silent Auction is shaping up with a lot of very nice Clan Donald items - 8"x10" framed prints of the Armadale Castle ruins, a unique coyote pelt sporan, framed embroidered Clan Donald seals, a hand made decorative Clan Donald seal pillow, to name just a few -- and credit cards will be accepted. Also plenty of door prizes for the lucky among us.

There is more than one way to reserve your spot at the dinner. First there is a reservation form (three different formats provided below) you may print and mail, the mailing address is on the form. Make sure you include a check made out to Clan Donald ($50 per attendee).
