Greetings from your new Maryland State Commissioner!We Maryland MacDonalds will proudly carry our Clan Donald banner high in 2010 as we participate in a variety of events statewide and join our fellow clansmen and clanswomen in Scottish and Celtic games and festivals throughout the Mid-East Region. I am proud of my Scots-Irish heritage and my family ties with the Antrim McDonnells. My mother is a McCrary (MacRuari) and our ancestors likely came to Antrim from the Dumfries-Galloway District of Scotland during the Ulster Plantation period of the 17th Century. Of course, my favorite color is McDonnell green! Fred Greenwood
