Welcome from the Maryland Commssioner:Being the new current Maryland Commissioner to Clan Donald USA, I would like to take this time to welcome you to a great organization and Clan. Hopefully you will find the history and our events associated with Clan Donald as interesting and amusing as myself and my fellow Clansmen do. We can not really comprehend the feelings and emotions of our ancestors, but we can at least gain an impression of what they experienced by recreating some of their activities. Of couse, one can not discount the growing of a fellowship of like-minded folks in a common field of interest. Good friendships are created and sustained with our group through our activities. Nothing compares to the look on a spectator when they learn something new of the their heritage. Last, but certainly not least, much of what we do, from marching in a parade, games and local gatherings, is plain old fashioned fun.
